This superfood herb is made from 100% maca root. Maca has the ability to increase energy, endurance and strength. Maca powder has many flavorful notes that are sweet and full, minor taste qualities that are reminiscent of other cruciferous vegetables; these add some mildly spicy elements. Our maca powder is a great emulsifier. It can be used to draw fats and oils together with starches and sugars in a beverage, dessert, or recipe. How old are these spices?
We purchase what we need every year right after the spices are harvested. These spices are as fresh as you can get. They are not sitting in a warehouse for multiple years. The oldest spices we carry will be one year old compared to the commodity market which warehouses spices for 10+ years before selling them to you.
Are these spices certified organic?
