Located in the southeastern coastal region of India, Andhra Pradesh is home to Banaganapalli mangos, named after the village from which they hail. Also referred to as The King of Mangos, this variety is prized for its pleasing aroma, firm, meaty texture and sweet, fiberless pulp. Our amchur powder is made from green, unripe Banaganapalli mangos sourced from a self-sustainable farm. Use a pinch of this salty, tangy-sweet powder to instantly change the complexity of flavor in everything from stews and stir-fries to veggies, fish and meat. You can even sprinkle it over your favorite fruits for that little extra kick.
Product Benefits: Amchur can help in aiding digestion by combating acidity and constipation, boosting immunity due to its high vitamin C content, promoting heart health through antioxidant properties, improving iron absorption, supporting healthy skin thanks to vitamins A and E, and potentially helping regulate blood sugar levels.

FAQ
How old are these spices?
We purchase what we need every year right after the spices are harvested. These spices are as fresh as you can get. They are not sitting in a warehouse for multiple years. The oldest spices we carry will be one year old compared to the commodity market which warehouses spices for 10+ years before selling them to you.
Are these spices certified organic?
Unfortunately we do not have any certifications at this time but most of our spices are organically grown and all of them are non gmo. Each ingredient can be traced back to its origin. Email support@spicetribe.com for any questions.
